Why bad news only?

It’s everywhere, on tv, in the Internet and in print. It’s all bad news! The world is one big gigantic mess. Well according to the recent media reports. People hate each other and they just want to kill each other in the name of God,self-defense and protection.

Economy is collapsing and people are jobless. Heck even I lost my job 6 months back. World is getting over-populated and polluted beyond recognition.

Natural resources are dwindling and food getting pricier by the day. Poverty is spreading everywhere.

So what went wrong? Why after evolving so much and becoming so smart , compare to our forefathers, have we lost complete control? To know the answer we need to go back in time and read history. Humans have always been blood-thirsty and territorial. Humans like to defend and protect their own territories. So when that territory gets threatened or runs out of supplies humans fight back with vengeance.

Here I was thinking that the future will bring mankind closer to Star Trek and we get more and more civilized and smarter. But no, we get dumber by the day and we still crave for blood or at least the sight of it, cause the media by now knows blood with tragedy sells the most.

Science remains silence in the age of human arena for politics and sheer gut wrenching thirst for unending war.

Maybe all we need to do is stop, relax and un-mute science in our lives again. For if this carries on for long, then the future will bring nothing but sorrows to mankind.

God help science help us.
