She was an icon and a star in a very closed conservative society where talking about sex even is a taboo.

Even though Sunny Leone started getting casted in various films and advertisement in the media, most or all of her casting was either sex, condom or dildo related. Now Sunny Leone got a chance to work with the “King of Bollywood” in his latest movie “Raees” which is an upcoming 2017 Indian action crime thriller film. Before this another Bollywood star “tweeted” that he would love to work with a pornstar but did not actually take the plunge.
This signifies one thing and one thing only – India is changing and sex may soon be not a taboo anymore. If the Indian audience is willing to accept a pornstar in it’s mainstream media blockbuster movies then why not accept the porn industry as a whole? Legalizing porn film shooting and monetizing the local Indian porn industry will bring in immense revenues one which the Indian government is “missing out” on.
This introduction of a pornstar named Sunny Leone into a blockbuster high budget movie only implies that “yes” India is ready for “open sex”.
