MADONNA

I got my first AIWA tape recorder from my uncle, who got it from Hong Kong or Singapore back in 1987. That is the time I also got from him cassette tapes of Madonna’s “like a virgin” album. I started listening to it and “who is that girl” got me hooked in such a way that I have been a fan of hers ever since. Only good times and good memories comes to mind when ever I listen to ‘any’ Madonna songs. I still listen to her to lift up my often soggy mood.

Who’s that Girl?

Madonna is an artist who took risks. At the peak of her 9 year career, she challenged the way society thinks about sex and sexuality. They called her a bitch, slut, whore, sexually confused person. I did not care. I found her erotic and arousing. Both herself and her erotic voice.

But Madonna knew exactly who she was and what she was doing. She released the coffee table book called ‘Sex’ in 1992.

Some may have thought that producing this coffee table book will hurt her career, but she’s still around 22 years later. Despite efforts to boycott or ban the book, it sold 150,000 units on the first day of its release in the U.S., and sold out worldwide 3 days after its release (1.5 million copies).

The book is not in publication anymore, hence it has become a very rare commodity. Though one can buy a completely sealed version of it on Ebay for less than $200.

Rimming, blowjobs, sadism, masochism, threesomes, whipping, androgyny. It’s all there – Enjoy!
