Sunny Leone to introduce soft-core to Bollywood
Indian Censor Board is unhappy with the subject of a Bollywood film titled “Mastizaade” starring Canadian born Indian porn star Sunny Leone which was due for release in May and has been facing heavy censorship since.
Filled with sexual innuendos like Sunny having sex in doggie position to simulating blowjobs, Mastizaade was supposed to be one of the most unabashed sex comedies of the year according to Indian standards.
Mastizaade is currently awaiting release certification from the Indian Movie Censor Board which has caused the delays. And later, the board refused to certify the film because of too much sexual content performed by half naked Sunny Leone.
Furthermore, the film was sent to the Revising Committee for a change in the decision but faced the same fate once again since the committee too found the content to be like a porn film and not suitable for general viewing.
Now the makers of the film have decided to approach the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal to compensate for the million dollar at stake in the making of the movie. One of the female members of the Indian Film board had decided to pass the film with an ‘Adult’ certificate along with a few cuts and censorship but her decision was not taken into consideration.
As of now, the decision over Bollywood’s first soft-porn Mastizaade, directed by Milap Zaveri, starring Sunny Leone, Tusshar Kapoor and Vir Das in the lead, is still pending, awaiting a reply from the Tribunal.
