Why Super Hero Movies are Blockbuster Hits (because Hollywood is out of new ideas)

There was a time when comic books were meant for kids only and superhero’s were praised by kids who understood the comic book story and their super powers. I was one of those kids back in the 80’s and that is why I am writing this article.

The super hero movies took off for a reason I think matters the most in any silver screen (movies) and that is expressing one’s imagination powers, and in today’s CGI age that is exactly what happens. Imagination comes into reality and how.

Movies were suppose to be full of imaginative stuffs, stuffs we cannot see or hear or feel in real life scenario’s, like a green monster bashing and jumping cloud high, a man with super powers flying in the clouds or a man with a power ring that does everything for him.

One of those imagination powered movies or televised serial would be STAR TREK. To go beyond where no man has ever gone before. That I would say is the proper use of the movie media.

Superhero movies takes the cake when it comes to igniting the imagination of viewers or audiences of the movie. That would the secret behind superhero movies being very very successful and also they are acceptable and viewed by audiences of all ages.

So from comic book pages costing only a pence to movies making millions and sometimes billions of dollar revenues, superhero movie plots are here to stay for good. Entertaining the human race and the masses.

So it’s not a wonder that these imaginative characters play a vital role in our life’s from childhood to old age.
