FEMEN ‘kidnaps’ Baby Jesus from the Vatican
A FEMEN activist kidnapped the “Baby Jesus” statue from the manger at the Vatican City on Thursday. The topless FEMEN protester was arrested in front of a big christian audience.
The Jesus figurine was unveiled by the Pope during the Christmas Eve mass on Wednesday.
The words “God is a woman” was painted on her bare breasts as the FEMEN activist made it through a security hole in the fences surrounding the “nativity scene” stage.
The protest was carried out to highlight “the centuries-old Vatican stance on women’s rights for own body and reproductive function,” the group’s webpage stated. FEMEN has also announced that they will keep stealing Baby Jesus from churches around the world.
“The maniacal desire to control women’s fertility is a common trait of many religions, National Socialism, nationalism and other antediluvian, anti-humanist ideologies. Abortion is sacred,” the FEMEN website stated.
The half naked woman ran to the manger in the center of the square, grabbed the Baby Jesus figurine, and raised it above her head while shouting “The pope is not a politician, god is not a magician.” slogan.
A Vatican guard quickly caught the FEMEN girl and covered her bare breasts with his coat. He then called the police to arrest her on the spot.
FEMEN is a radical feminist protest group that was founded in Ukraine in the year 2008. The group is now based in Paris after all or most of it’s Ukrainian group members sought Asylum in France during the outbreak of the Ukraine Russia war of 2013.
