Third Blogger Butchered in Bangladesh
It’s all over the international news yet again, a third secular blogger butchered in Sylhet City, Bangladesh. Smashed and slashed deep in the skull with a Chinese made machete, spilling Ananta’s brain matter onto the ground, spelling an instant death.
Four men chased the blogger, Ananta Bijoy Dash, age 30 – through streets near his home in the northeastern city of Sylhet and butchered him to death in broad daylight in front of witnesses.
Yet again this blogger also somehow insulted the sentiment of the extremist religious. Religion taken by some group of people so literally that they have transformed it into a deadly inhumane grotesque thing that is to be feared or in other words the “ugly dark matter” not to be liked.
Yes this blogger also shared the same opinion as Avijit Roy and Washiqur Rahman Babu. And yes his opinion killed him as well in the so-called secular third world country named Bangladesh. His opinion has actually made him more heroic now that he is dead than any religion or ideology can. These bloggers are actually been transformed into Martyrs and International heroes for freedom & free thinkers, who will never be forgotten, by those very same insane clueless yet lost in the dark souls who have murdered (slaughtered) them one by one just because they had different opinions to share with the world.
Yet again the killers or murderers have gone for the head and spilled out the brain (with Chinese machete blows) so as to signify “do not think for yourself or question anything that is sacred” the death of the intellectual capacity of an individual.
These cold blooded murders are just the beginnings of the end of a secular moderate future for the country called Bangladesh which is already plagued with religion radicalization, human sufferings, constant earthquakes, extreme annual natural disasters, severe poverty, infectious diseases and maddening political unrest. The corrupt authorities of this already ill-fated nation are just making matters worst instead of making any kind of progress in finding the culprits and the “board daylight” murderers to justice or send them behind bars atleast.
If religious peace is to exist, then the majority religion of Bangladesh needs to co-exist with the minorities in a sane and peaceful society where reasons supersedes blind fanatic madness which is very deadly to both the neutral majorities and the free thinker minorities.
The government of Bangladesh has failed over and over again and will always remain crippled like a disabled as it always has in the past. Citizens needs to take precaution on their own and find shelter independently from this deadly trend of madness if they are to stay alive in a place full of uncertainties, insecurities and unnatural death knocking on the door in every dark (nighttime) or lighted (daytime) corner.
